Green Roof Installations

KISSS is establishing itself as the de facto standard in many new green roof installations. Because of wind drift and poor DU, traditional sprinkler and drip systems are not an effective irrigation solution for green roofs. KISSS on the other hand provides excellent water distribution and wind drift is a non-issue since KISSS is sub-surface.

Step One:

The KISSS Below Flow system is laid out according to the spacing and depth called for in the design specifications. All fittings and materials are connected at this time.

Once the zones are complete and the water supply is energized, an inspection of each connection is required to verify the zone operates at full capacity.

Step Two:

Green roof growing media is added to the depth called for in the design specifications. Below Flow Flat and Below Flow Wrap can operate at various depths subject to the design specifications.

Step Three:

Vegetation is planted according to the design specifications. KISSS is implemented on both intensive and extensive green roof installations.
