KISSS SUBSURFACE CAPILLARY IRRIGATION (SCI) creates a wide and continuous wetting pattern for all plants and turf. KISSS subsurface capillary irrigation allows for near perfect air filled porosity. This does not happen using a SUBSURFACE DRIP IRRIGATION (SDI) because SDI systems emit water from point sources; forming water saturated anaerobic (low oxygen) areas in the soil; creating a situation that is not optimal for plant growth or disease tolerance. In contrast, SCI irrigation creates a significantly larger volume of moist, non-saturated soil to give roots more nutrients and oxygen.
When irrigating with SCI, turf and plants are healthier, more productive, more uniform, and more resilient to drought and disease. Subsurface capillary irrigation (SCI) has the added benefit of being immune to root intrusion, thus no herbicides or acid flushes are required.

- Wide pressure ranges (6-58PSI)
- Economical-- longer runs and lower installation costs
- Reduced installation costs compared to traditional drip systems
- Eliminates anaerobic conditions in the soil
- Eliminates bacterial attack and drastically reduces fungal problems
- Plant material grows 20% faster compared to drip and overhead systems
