Ebb and Flow MAT systems are inexpensive and easy to install. They are delivered cut to length and ready to connect, with a set of simple instructions in each header pack.
Ebb and Flow MAT is easily integrated into any nursery. It can be placed on top of existing outdoor beds, ground cover or greenhouse benches and connected to existing water supply systems.
If necessary, fine gravel (1/8 – 3/16”) can be used to fill depressions and help create an even grade. If desired existing overhead irrigation systems can be left in place to minimize expenditure or to provide a back-up system.
Ebb and Flow MAT offers the major advantages of both capillary systems and ebb and flow systems, but avoids the substantial costs and extensive maintinece normally experienced in setting up these alternative systems.
